The new elevator installed a couple years ago make my job a lot easier.
The upstairs ballroom is a favorite venue for dozens of receptions every year.

Stronach Town Hall
is just across the water from Manistee.
It's a nice hall with a large kitchen for the caterers and a stage for the
music.
VFW of Manistee
is on the south side of Manistee with a large kitchen & bar area with plenty of

Ramada Inn of Ludington is located at the
intersection of US 10 & US 31. If you're looking for a reception venue
that does it all this is your choice. They can handle the bar, food, and

Stearns Motor Inn is located one block from the
heart of downtown Ludington right across the street from the Post Office &
Public Library. They have beautifully restored the elegant ballroom and
it's my favorite room because of the great acoustics. You can call

Harbor View Marina as you can tell by the name is
right on the harbor in Ludington on south Rath Avenue. The view of the
sunsets over Lake Michigan are stunning. Give them a call at (231) 843-6032.

Knights of Columbus (#1492 how's that for a
number?) in Ludington is just a couple blocks north of the stoplight at
Ludington Avenue & Jebavy Dr. The address is 301 N. Jebavy Dr. Call (231) 845-6449
to ask about renting the hall. It's one of the largest halls in the area
and the kitchen is easy to work in for the caterers. The dance floor is
huge & the hall lends itself nicely for easy decorating.
Scottville Optimist as the name implies is just off
the main drag in Scottville. There is a huge parking lot and room for
hundreds of guests inside. Adjacent to the Scottville Clown Band's stage.
This hall also has a large kitchen that you're caterers will appreciate.

Pentwater Public Library (you might even be able to use their wireless
internet). It's a small facility for about 100 guests. The phone

Pentwater VFW is just on you way north of Pentwater
on Business 31. A popular bingo spot & inexpensive venue for locals & long
time visitors to beautiful Pentwater. The address is 8440 N US Highway 31

Pentwater Yacht Club
as you can well imaging is right on the waterfront of Pentwater Lake right by
the channel into Lake Michigan. They have a nice stage area for the Good

is a beautiful new hotel located just on the northern border of

The Loading Dock in Shelby is a mystery to me.
They seem to be invisible. I can't find out any information on how to
contact them yet. I'll keep trying because this is a cool place.
It's a converted railroad loading dock located in downtown Shelby, MI. right
next to the Hart-Montague Bike Trail which is of course the old railway bed.
Newly renovated, it has 2 levels and a definite venue to consider in Oceana
County

him for the first time at a wedding reception at the Tuscan Grill in Manistee on
6/21/08. He was hired to play cocktail music for the evening. He's
GREAT. For 2 & 1/2 hours he seamlessly blended classic pop/rock songs from
